Battle within me

Romans 7:20-25 Now if I do that I would not, it is no more I that do it but sin that dwelleth in me. I find then a law,that, when I would do good. evil is present with me. For I delight in the law of God after the inward man: But I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me in to captivity to the law of sin which is in my members. O wretched man that I am! who shall deliver me from the body of death? I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord. So then with the mind I myself serve the law of God, but with the flesh the law of sin.

Today was another day of battles within me. I pray that the Lord will lead me and guide me to do things right according to his word.I don't claim to be perfect, but I know I can be; because Jesus said so in his word. Jesus said in Matthews 5:48-Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect. Right now there is a battle within me concerning a change I feel I need in my life or more so want in my life. I really want to move and gain employment elsewhere. However, I am not sure if it is God's will but I don't want to continue to feel burdened wiht the job I currently have. Being thankful for where I am is a choice that I make everyday. I have to make a choice to either obey God's word or fall into a life of misery that will not benefit the kingdom of God or my walk with Christ. I realize Jesus that I move too hasty at times, but this time I I am willing to wait for the answer from you.I don't want to move without you leading us to move. My husband and I both feel that it is time to move on to other career opportunities and relocate for various reasons. The number one reason is to become closer to Jesus, but then I think within myself will moving get us closer to God. We have made so many changes in our lives that we are not as close to God as we should be. I don't want to move merely because I want to move or I feel that we should because everything isn't working out the way we want to or how WE think it should be. Lord, I pray right now that you speak to my spirit that and I say this prayer aloud and as I type that you lead us where you want to go. Father I come you with full assurance that you will show me and my husband the way we should go. not only show us the way but give us the knowledge, wisdom and understanding that we need to increase in you. Jesus, I realize that jobs, houses and land is not going to matter at all without you in our lives. I ask you now Father in the name of Jesus to show me the way, Lord show me where you want me to be. Lord, I desire for you to use me. Lord what will you have me to do. Mold me and shape me Jesus into a vessel you can use. I come to you Father in the name of Jesus now believing that you will show me what you have me to do. I am going to trust you Jesus, I am not going to waver in my faith because you are my Lord, my savior and my master and you will not lead me the wrong way. Order my steps in your word Lord and teach me how to fight the battles within me that are not building me up in you. My flesh is leading me to just make that move without being sure if it is your will. The flesh want me to believe that this is the Lord's will. However I will not truly know until it is revealed to me. I know that if it is your will, I can be assured that when we move that it will be your will and the purpose of that will be to build your kingdom and not fulfilling my own fleshly desires. My spiritual man is leading me right now to sit, to be still, be thankful with where I am, and grow in you Jesus where I am. I can't expect to move and expect better until I am growing in Christ more where I am. I must draw near to you where I am. Waiting until I am in a better home or car is not going to make me a better person in Christ. I have to keep in mind what your word says and I pray that you will always put me into remembrance of your word. Your word states in Colossians 3:1-3. If ye then be risen with Christ seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God. Set your affections on things above, not on things on this earth. Thank you Jesus for your word. Help me in my daily walk that I seek the things from above. Not my will be done Jesus, but your will be done Jesus. Matthew 6:33 seek ye first the kingdom of God and his righteousness and all these things shall be added unto you. Thank you Jesus for your word that direct my paths. Help me to overcome the flesh by following the things that are of Christ. I stand bold on your word that you will never leave me or forsake me.

Patience: Sit and be still

We have to learn to be patient, be still and let God. We are so busy trying tohandle things our own way, that we forget to seek God or wait for an answer from God. God knows what is best for us. We have to get it in our heart, in our mind and Spirit that God is in charge. He knows us better than we know ourselves. He knows what is going to happen in our lives before us. He can lead us in the direction that he wants us to. Seek your strength for patience in the word of God. The word will give you patience. You have to really want a patient spirt. How can we get that? How can we get a patient soirit that no matter what we are going to be thankful, wait and trust our God. God is not going to put more on us than we can bear. The Lord will give you stregth to overcome. We overcome by living and breathing the word. The word of God brings life in all of our bones. I would like to share the word with you for a moment. Think about what God has done for us, think about how much he beared so that we can have life, a chance to be saved. We have a choice to either trust God or live a life without the love of God leading us and guiding us to be successful in him. I would rather be led by the spSpirit of God always than to be lead astray by moving swiftly to the things we feel we need. How do we know for sure if it is God's will. We are so quick to pray that if it is God's will. What are we doing to ensure that we know if it is God's will. If we would be patient..just sit and be still for a moment. God will show you the way to go, what to do in any given situation. I plead with whoever is reading this to trust God, trust him with all your heart. Trust him and know that God will give you the knowledge, wisdom and understanding that you need. God will order your steps. You can trust that God will not lead you in the wrong direction, he knows what his will for your life. We might want a lot of things but God knows what is best for us.

Psalms 37:7 states "Rest in the Lord and wait patiently for him: fret not thyself because of him who prospereth in his way, because of the man who bringeth wicked devices to pass.

What do we do when we rest, we relax, we have peace, so that is what we must do concerning waiting for the Lord. He want us to have peace in our situations and our decisions making, when we have peace we have faith, when we can rest we know that the Lord will take care of us and we can TRUST him. Rest and be patient.

Psalms 40:1&2 I waited patiently for the Lord and he inclined unto me, and heard my cry. He brought me up also out of an horrible pit out of the miry clay, and set my foot upon a rock and established my goings.

Thank you Jesus for your word! Halleluah! See God will bring you out and not only bring you out, but will establish your way. He will not lead you wrong. With that being said, I encourage you all to wait on the Lord, be of good courage, Wait I say on the Lord!

What is your mind...carnal or spiritual

Thank you Jesus for your word. Lord I thank you for continuing to lead me to be more spiritually minded. I encourage all who reads this blog to be blessed in Jesus name. Ask yourself "Am I following the things of the world? Or am I following the things that are of Jesus? In this world we live in, we get so caught up in this cares of this life, that we don't take the time to really grow in the spiritual realm. How are we ever going to know God if we don't reach for him in the spiritual realm.

Word of Inspiration from Romans 8:5-8
"For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit, the things of the Spirit. For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of god, neither indeed can be. So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God."

There it is, you have it now from the written word of God, they that are in the flesh cannot please God.

God tells us not to be carnally minded. We are to be spiritual minded. The carnal minded person is one who is concerned with the affairs of this life [temporal] more than the affairs of the life to come and his life in Christ [eternal]. For the mind that is carnal thinks on, values, perceives, and is obsessed with worldly things--money, possessions, sex, reputation among men, foods and drinks not for the survival of the person but survival for the very eating and drinking of these things, which order is corrupted. The carnal mind wars against the laws of God, it is not subject to the law of God and neither indeed can be. [Rom. 8:7]

So we can see that if we continue to strive for the things of the things of this world, is not going to matter with God, we are daily killing ourselves. We all need to start to question ourselves before we decide to move without God leading us. Ask yourself, will doing this get me into heaven eternally, is this the way God want me(us) to live, or is serving the flesh pleasing to us at the moment. Every moment we strive for the cares of this life, we are dying spiritually. God's word tells us for to be carnally minded is death.If we are following the things that are in the flesh we are not pleasing God. If we are constantly worried about gaining this world's goods, this world's way of living without God; we need to come to God in prayer and ask for God to inervene so that we can make the right choice to serve him and not the flesh. We cannot serve God and mammon. We can't live for the world and expect to move up in Jesus and moreso be with him in the new heaven and the earth to come.

At this moment we need to set our affections on things above and not on the things of this Earth. May God conitinue to bless your walk with him.

No Griping or complaining

Time to be more thankful and alleviate griping from your spirit. Griping shows spiritual immaturity and lack of trust in God. Let us do less griping and complaining and more praise and thanks to our Master. I thank you Jesus for being my Master who is my strength. Thank you Jesus! just want to give you Praise right now!

MAN IS A NATURAL COMPLAINER

God gives us everything we need to have, a million things we want to have, yet we still complain about the one thing we don’t have. Workers complain about their jobs and bosses, children complain about their parents and their siblings, wives and husbands complain about their marriage, even Christians complain about their churches and pastors. God delivered Israel from slavery in Egypt. Not long after that they were complaining about the lack of a variety of food. Apparently slavery is better than mediocre food! The grumbling hasn’t stopped today. Man is a wretched complainer. If you want to be a better Christian, be thankful for your imperfect marriage, your imperfect church, your imperfect spouse, your imperfect children, and your imperfect job. They may be imperfect to you, but they are perfect for you. Our Lord does not always give us what we want, but what we need.

SPIRITUAL IMMATURITY

Complaining is a sign of spiritual immaturity. A lack of faith is shown. If I trust God - that He has my best in mind, why do I throw my tantrums as if He is wants nothing more than to see us suffer? Discontentment and covetousness are shown - a person doesn’t complain about what he or she does have and what is going right, but what he or she does not have and what isn’t going right. A complainer cannot accept God’s will. He is always trying to accomplish and pursue his own will and he’s not going to shut up until he gets it! He or she cares nothing of what the Lord desires.

PRAISING VS COMPLAINING

Do you know what the opposite of complaining is? What is the opposite of grumbling about what the Lord hasn’t given to you? Well… it’s rejoicing about what He has given you – this is called… PRAISE! The opposite of complaining is praise. A person that praises God doesn’t complain, and a person that complains doesn’t praise. One man rejoices and testifies of God’s grace and another complains that God has dealt him a terrible hand. If you want to find out if you are a “praiser” or a “complainer”, ask yourself, “Do I testify of the great things God has done for me, or do I tell people that I’ve been dealt a bad hand?” Do you tell them how God has blessed you first, or are you quick to jump to talk about everything that’s wrong?

REJOICE

As believers let’s start honoring our God by rejoicing, praising, and giving thanks. Let’s let our offerings of thanks outweigh our talks of our problems. Let us present our problems to God with a thankful heart knowing that everything He keeps from our grasp is for our own good. Realize that there are three answers from God to our requests – “Yes”, “Wait”, or “I have something better”. When we get the answer, “I have something better,” we say to Him, “Thank you, Father. I accept that gladly.”

Eve of my 39th Birthday!

Thank You Jesus for life right now!

Eve of my 39th Brithday! Thank you Jesus!

I pray that I make it to see my 39th birthday in Jesus name! However, it is all up to my Master who sits above all. Living life for God and living in this world daily can be challenging. However, I do believe that if we choose to live for God and choose to die from the things of this lfe, we can move up in the spiritual realm where God can use us. I want to be used of Jesus, Lord what you have me to do. Prepare the way for me for whatever you have me to do.

Give me an obedient spirit. Jesus, I thank you for the years of life that you have blessed me with. God you are a merciful and wonderful God. I praise you right now! Praise you for what you have done for me and what you continue to do for me , my family, my friends and people I communicate with daily. Lord I bless your holy name! I don't deserve his love sometimes. I say this, because throughout the course of my life, God has been truly blessing me with vast numbers of opportunities to get it right; but somehow I allow the cares of this world to hinder me from getting me to that place where God wants me to be. How can I know what the Lord has planned for my life. I want to know Jesus what you have me to do? God's word states in Matthew 6:33 and I stand boldly on his word from Matthew 6:33. " But seek ye first the kingdom of God and his righteousness and all these things shall be added unto you. With that being said, we first have to get to that place where we can seek God first. We must be willing to make a sacrifice to move up and be used of the Lord. I don't want my days to be wasted on things that really doesn't matter for the building of your kingdom. I want my days to be spent building the kingdom of God. There are so many lost souls out there that need to be saved.

All the things we do in this life is not worth a hill of beans, nothing but dung. Phillipians 4:10. " Yea doubtless, and I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung, that I may win Christ, and be found in him, not having mine own righteousness, which is through the faith of christ, the righteousness which os of God by faith: That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made comforable unto his death; if by any means I might attain untio the resurrection of the dead. We have to come to that place where nothing really matters but JESUS! Jesus is the way, the truth and the life no man cometh to the Father but by him. WIth that being said, I pray that the Lord blesses me with a spirit of self denial. He wants us all to be self denied, take up the cross and follow him daily.

Matthew 16: 24-26
"Then said Jesus unto his disciples, if any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross and follow me. For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it. FOr what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall man give in exchange for his soul?"Praise the Lord! I choose you Lord, I choose to die of this flesh and come to you. Jesus cleanse me from all of my unrighteousness.

Think about the greatness and how wonderful God is and your day will be wonderful, no matter what obstacles you are faced with. We have to remember that we are going to face adversities, trials, tribulations, good days and bad days in our walk with Christ.

Encouraging words from Psalm 46: God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.

²Therefore will not we fear, though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea;

³Though the waters thereof roar and be troubled, though the mountains shake with the swelling thereof. Selah.

⁴There is a river, the streams whereof shall make glad the city of God, the holy place of the tabernacles of the most High.

⁵God is in the midst of her; she shall not be moved: God shall help her, and that right early.

⁶The heathen raged, the kingdoms were moved: he uttered his voice, the earth melted.

Isn't that wonderful, God is with us, the God of Jacob is our refuge. We can rest in him, he is our God and what an awesome God he is. He is worthy to be praised. Let us lift up his holy name. I praise you Lord, I worship you! Jesus! You are a wonderful and a gracious and merciful God. Thanks for shedding your love in me and surrounding me with your love,peace and joy right now. No matter what Jesus, I thank you Jesus! I thank you and I give you all the honor and praise. Halleluah! I worship your name.

Time to get it right

We must stop making excuses for serving the Lord. Time to stop making excuses about why you haven't prayed, fasted and sought the Lord. It is time now to seek God with all our heart, soul and mind. Don't lie down at night without confessing our ssins. 1 John 1:9 states that if we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all uunrighteousness. God gives us a choice daily to choose life or choose death. Will you choose life or will you choose death?

I choose life today Lord, you woke me up this morning and I need you every second of the day leading me. Jesus let your will be done in me. Not my will but let your will be done in me.

Thank you Jesus for life right now!

Good to be back here on Way To Life

I hope that all have been blessed by reading my blogs. 2010 I will be more consistent with my postings. I have been pretty busy these past couple of months and God is still dealing with me and leading me on a daily basis. Sometimes, we know we want to do what we want to do and sometimes that causes everything in our lives to be messed up. I am learning to acknowledge Jesus in all of my ways and I do believe that he will direct my paths. I do believe that if we put our trust in the Lord and obey him for what his word says we would live a God prospered life. To have a God prospered life means to live in true prosperity. What is true prosperity you may ask? True prosperity is being under the true blessings of God, where your barns are filled, you are living in peace, you are healthy and the Lord is your guide and your protector. He is going to lead you and you are going to obey and trust. I encourage everyone to learn to do well, acknowledge the Lord and all you say and do, be obedient to his word, learn to do well, give to the poor, invest in the Lord's kingdom and you will be under the true blessings of the Lord. We must work hard and sacrifice everyday and live the way God wants us to live. Not doing what we want to do but following the will of God.

Trusting God in the midst of our trial

At some point in our lives we are going to suffer something. Rather it's a loved one, job loss, family issues, medical, personal or financial issues, we are must learn how to go to God in prayer believing that he will work it out.

Sometimes, we don't get the answers we need during our trials, we may get discouraged in the midst of our trials and lose faith in God. There's encouragement for you according to the word of God.God's word is truly comfort to our souls and he will be our help in time of trouble. We must put our trust in him no matter how it appears. God is a faith moving God, faith moves him, therefore we must have faith to believe that HE IS. Hebrews 11:6 states "but without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them who diligently seek him."

Hebrews 11 is a wonderful chapter that really tells how various people of the Bible believed God no matter what the situation looked like.

Always remember that God is in charge and we have to realize that he is working for our good. God sees what will happen before we do, therefore you can trust the Lord. We don't know what the road that we want to take will encounter. God is aware of everything that we are going through and he is looking towards our best interest. That is why it is imperative that we are patient and are willing to let go and let God. You see there are things that the flesh can't see and we don't understand why our prayers are not being answered when and how we want them to. Again, God is in charge...he knows best. Our prayers aren't answered either it's because it's not in his will or we don't have faith.
We must begin to look on the spiritual side of things and again Believe in God. God allows things to happen in our lives to draw us closer to him and for us to trust in him. He allows things in our lives to make us stronger in him. When we are walking with Christ, we are going to go through trials and tribulations, we must learn to overcome all things in Jesus name.

How do we learn to trust God in the midst of our trials?

Come to God in full assurance when you pray that God Is and that he will work it out no matter how things may appear. God will be your help. Isaiah 41:10-14- "Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed: for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness. Behold, all they that were incensed against thee shall be ashamed and confounded:they shall be as nothing; and they that strive with thee shall perish. Thou shalt seek them, and shalt not find them, even them that contended with thee: they that war against thee shall be as nothing, and as a thing of nought. For I the Lord, thy God will hold thy right hand, saying unto thee, Fear not; I will help thee. Fear not, thou worm Jacob, and ye men of Israel; I will help thee, saith the Lord, and thy redeemer, the Holy one of Israel." Isn't God good, Praise the Lord, he will be our help. He said he will hold our right hand, Glory to God! Thank you Jesus!
Praise God before you actually get the answer. Praising God is a faith moving action. You are praising God for answering your prayer before it's manifested. For example, Paul and Silas were beaten and thrown in jail. Nevertheless, they continued to praise God within those prison walls before they were released; because they believed God. Acts 16: 23-26. "And when they had laid many stripes upon them, they cast them into prison, charging the jailor to keep them safely: Who, having received such a charge, thrust them into the inner prison, and made their feet fast in the stocks. And at midnight Paul and Silas prayed, and sang praises unto God: and the prisoners heard them. And suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken: and immediately all the doors were opened, and every one's bands were loosed." This proves that God moves when we pray and believe.
Don't allow your situation and others to waver your faith. Pray in faith and watch how God will move. James 6: 6-7. "But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed. For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord."

Today is a new beginning

This is the day that the Lord has made I will rejoice and be glad in it. I am thankful that the Lord has given me a new day to serve him and another chance at life. Lord, you gave me one more sunny day. Thank you Jesus! I praise you Lord because you are worthy to be praised! I lift up my voice to the Lord the most high because he has done so much for ME! Sometimes, I don't feel worthy of his many blessings, but I will praise him right now because of who he is. He is more Lord and my Savior, without him I am nothing. Thank you Jesus! Lord if it had not been for you Jesus,I don't know where I would be. Lord I thank you Jesus that I am still here to praise your Holy name and worship you right Now! Glory to God! Thank you Jesus! You are wonderful! Praise you Lord for allowing me to still be here. Thank you Jesus!

Praise the Lord and be thankful for being here. Thank God for life and rejoice today for what God has done and what he is continuously doing in our lives. Take a moment and be thankful and REJOICE! Thank you Jesus!

I also pray for all my readers to live your life as Christ would.
